Mr Arthit said 14,749 factories hit by the flood deluge in 31 provinces have now restarted production and taken back 341,285 workers. However, 39 auto-parts factories in flood-hit industrial estates had shutdown and terminated employment contracts with 10,957 workers – 30 factories in Ayutthaya province with 8,789 workers, six in Pathum Thani with 1,678 workers,expanded mesh, two in Chachoengsao with 459 workers, one in Saraburi with 31 workers, said Mr Arthit.
